[Resources] Procedural Fabric in Blender 🧵

Hey Reader,

Zach here, and after a little break, I'm back with another round of useful and inspiring CG and Blender related resources.

New Updates and Trailer: Master 3D Environments in Blender Course

In the past weeks, Martin Klekner polished and updated the Master 3D Environments in Blender course, added some new lesson and re-did some problematic lessons. You can read all about the latest update, here.

All updates are of course free for everyone that owns the course already.

All in all, the course has now 150+ lessons, with 12+ hours of content, Blender only, no paid add-ons used.

Check out the new trailer for the course above, and the new course introduction video.

Procedural Fabric in Blender (Tutorial)

Procedural nodes master "Erindale" created another great tutorial, where he shows how to create a procedural fabric material in Blender. The end result looks fantastic.

Hum3D Car Render Challenge 2021

As every year, Hum3D.com started the next Car Render Challenge 2021 for 3D artists. Similar as for the CG Boost Challenge, you can join in, improve your 3D skills and win some cool prizes.

All you need to do is to create a 3D car, put it into a 3D environment and create a beautiful render of it. You can recreate a real car, or let your imagination go crazy.

For this challenge you have plenty of time, till December 8th, 2021.

I personally joined once in the past, and it was a ton of fun. For this year's edition, I'm one of the judges. 👨‍⚖️

Hope to see some nice renders from you.
