🚀 [Resources] Spring Sales, Thrilling Car Animation in Blender and more…

Hey Reader,

Zach here,

With a fresh bunch of news and inspirations from the 3D world.

Today I’ll share an amazing automotive animation made in Blender, an inspiring video from an independent filmmaker, and news about the current Spring Sales from Superhive (formerly BlenderMarket) and Blender Secrets.

Let's dive in.

“Heritage” - Thrilling Car Animation made in Blender

This Blender-made animation byJosué Zabeau is not just another automotive advertisement. It kicks off with cool city-scape shots that remind me of “Akira” and quickly draws the viewer into a dynamic story of a robot-driven car adventure.

There is an interesting plot twist at the ending that brings to my mind my “Blender Launch Pad” course (but I won’t give you any spoilers so you can fully enjoy it).

“Good Pasture” - Indie Blender Filmmaker's Story

If you ever tried making your short film in Blender, you know it can be a huge and complex challenge.

Ben Moran - writer, director, and Visual FX Artist working with Maere Studios decided to jump into the deep waters of making his own animated short film.

He honestly shares his struggles with this process and how he managed to overcome them in this video. Ben mentions a lot of tough artistic decisions he needed to make to tell his story impactful.

Our Master Cinematic Storytelling in Blender course is a helpful, extensive resource to learn the crucial fundamentals of this craft to make your filmmaking journey easier and successful.
